Audi love to slow play their RS models but sadly for them the internet won`t comply and as soon as the rumours of another model slips out we`re all over it like vulchers. Don`t worry Audi, we still love the RS6 but our imagination loves to wander when we hear the RS5 might get a Lambo V10 engine. In reality we understand there is a recession on and you can probably only stretch to a 4.2 liter V8 engine but given the two very efficient turbochargers you intend to slap on it we`re sure to be more than satisfied. What is it 450-480 horsepower? Not bad. 0-60 mph of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph, can`t say fairer than that. We`re also bound to get at least 500lb ft of pulling power and some spares of the R8 like ceramic brakes, alloys and magnetic dampers. Sounds about right then to price it on a par to an M3 give or take the inflation by 2011 when we can actually buy one.
